Over on k@’s blog she’s been posting a picture a day from our trip through the islands of Cambodia. If you haven’t checked them out, you really should. I keep intending to make a solid photo album of them but the hustle and bustle of getting everything packed for our move on Wednesday keeps me from devoting the time that I need to such an endeavor.

Regardless, a couple days ago, k@ posted several pics from our trip up to a beautiful waterfall that we stopped by on our last day of sailing. By far this was one of the most beautiful sights of a trip plagued by sights of such enduring beauty that your eyes felt as though they should be plucked from your head by ravenous crows for trespassing into Eden.

To reach the falls we had to putter a mile or two up a river in our ever-reliable dinghy and tie up at quite possibly the most character-filled pier I have ever had the pleasure of walking upon. Take a look for yourself:
