YES! Finally, flying the friendly skies is safer. Now that you can’t take a lighter on board, you won’t be able to light your shoe bomb, even if you get past the ‘remove shoes at security checkpoints’ screen. WHEW! I’m glad that we’re legislating the really important security concerns at airports, and skipping right over such wastes of time like airplane cargo hold contents and airfield access.
