However a few months ago (the last time I got a hair cut) he totally jumped the shark. He cut the hell out of my face… bad there were like three different spots tour up on my face. So I have been dealing with the dilemma of finding a new barber. Which I hate because I don’t like people talking to me when the cut my hair. I want their undivided attention focused on the job at hand.

So now that I have waited until I absolutely need to cut my hair, I have found my new barber.

I landed a cool job that I don’t hate. Which allows me to work with one my best friends endub, and purchased me a new laptop.

I finally secured a high-speed Internet connection at mom’s house. At first I was reluctant to get cable TV along with Internet, but I have since changed my mind. The installation tech told me that I would get the premium channels until they closed out the order. It has been about 6 weeks and a bill later and I still have them. And I didn’t even tip the guy!

Also two of my very best friends from high school, have moved in with Mom and I. This has had many positive consequences, not least of which dulling the feeling of being 22 and still living with my Mom.

I have also spent enough time at the “D” that they know my drink. Which is kinda scary.

I bought World of Warcraft, and played until 4.30am this morning. That shit is on line crack.

I have not regretted my move home for one second, but there are still many logistical problems to be resolved. Namely I have only packed seven days worth of clothing, including three matching black long sleeve shirts. It looked minimalist for the first month, but people are starting to think I only have one shirt. Also my the remnants of my PC/ new tribe server and all my other related crap are still in CT(don’t worry Cid I am sending shipping labels this week) Also I need a car. My car still resides in a parking lot in CT. Once the spring thaw comes, Mami and I will be flying out and driving across the country. More on this to come

As it stands now that was the most I have ever spent at the iTunnes music store. And thanks to a Videora’s iPod Converter, my video capture card and my Blockbuster account, I don’t think I will be spending any more.

Right now I am converting all episode’s of Pure Pwnage, and the new Batman flick for my flight home on Wednesday.

I give the iPod with video a thumbs up. The only drawback I have found is that I couldn’t find a case for it yet. I searched around all the local places and they were sold out. I guess I will have to pony up to apple and order one this week.

And a second latter the best older brother anyone could have, CID gave me a 30GB video iPod. Kick fucking ass dude!

On Friday CID and I went our friend Jason’s house for my going away party. We didn’t leave until about 5am yesterday morning, after drinking tons of 60 min IPA. (Jason bought me a case, just goes to show there are good people in CT.) I was awoken at 10:00am to the sound of my cell phone, it was one of my least favorite attorneys from work. She said I needed to come in, so still half drunk and smelling like bonfire I stumbled across the parking lot to the office. After resetting several lusers passwords I told them I was going home. When I got back and climbed into bed, they called again. So I went back to the office, Now I am pissed. I dealt with their issues and told them my phone would be off for the rest of the day.

Ah the freedom of absolutely not giving a shit about your job. My only motivation to do anything at work is that, I like the other guys in my department and don’t want to make it any harder on them than it already is. But mentally I have already gotten on the plane.

I am not having a nervous breakdown, I feel better mentally today than I have in over two years. I know I have allot of work ahead of me in the coming weeks. But it feels nice to be planning my return to Oregon, instead of dreaming about it.

For the first time since graduating High School, I can see feasible way of gong back to school. I don’t feel I need to work 40+ hours a week, for a company that totally doesn’t jive with my moral compass. I will work at what ever job pays me enough to go to school. I am tired of loosing sleep over someone Else’s profits.

MICHAEL Hey man! Wanna go out to lunch?

PETER I brought mine in a pail. Plus, Joanna’s supposed to come by later.

SAMIR So, how do you like your new job?

PETER It’s not too bad. Not too bad. How’s Penetrode?

MICHAEL Initrode.

PETER Initrode.

SAMIR It’s work.

PETER Yeah. Yeah.

SAMIR Are you sure you don’t want us to get you a job?

PETER That’s the one thing I’m definitely sure of.

I won big, I started with $20 and in like three hands had almost doubled it. Like an idiot I continued to play and lost. I walked away a little over even. However the big winning was meeting a super cool girl. She is almost completely deaf, so my 2 years of ASL in high school paid off amazingly. Word. She is an environmental scientist here in East Hartford. I am stoked. The best part about meeting her at poker night was that I was completely tanked, and it didn’t put her off. If a girl is still interested in me when I am drunk, she is keeper.

I think this week I will show her how charming I can be when I am not drinking.

And I will have it before my trip to Oregon, this Christmas.

World of Warcraft had allot to do with my slacking. I think I have broken that addiction, it ha been two weeks since I played last.
