More to the point, I think it's an important enough revision to the Constitution to necessitate amending it to the Constitution. I really liked the line from the article you linked where someone said that the flag represents American freedom. If I don't have the freedom to burn the flag as a political statement, I want to know what real freedom I have. I like the amendment. Blah!
