Pope Benedict XVI prayed Sunday for God to stop the “murderous hand” of terrorists, stepping up his condemnation of the recent attacks in Europe and the Middle East blamed on Islamic extremists.
Good plan, dude. I hope it works just like all those other times where religion stepped in and made everyone stop hating and killing each other over cultural and religious differences.
“It’s a very strong signal, that at the beginning of his pontificate, there is this desire for a dialogue among the three great monotheistic religions that are inspired by, and have reference to Abraham,” spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls said.
I don’t know..it’s just one of those days for me that I read stuff like this, and just wonder to myself how ANYONE can still believe in this horseshit. It’s just so freaking out of control. I would insert a big anti-religious rant right here, except I know it wouldn’t help. It’s a delusional disorder, and should be treated by medical professionals as such.
