No doubt. I would be kicking some serious ass if I paid as much money as Stenbrenner does and ended up with a team that couldn’t bat it’s way out of a wet paper bag.
What the fuck is wrong with the Yankees? It’s not even strictly their batting. Players that have been good players for years are sucking, and they got swept by the Orioles this weekend? What the fuck is that?
A-Rod makes $25,705,118 this year. Has he been playing like someone who gets paid twenty five fucking million dollars a year to play baseball? No, no he has not.
I seriously think they should start fining MLB players for sucking. Especially for actual errors that go up on the board. I don’t make $25 million for my job, but there are certain things I can do that results in me getting fined, possibly even jailed. I don’t see why someone who gets paid that much to play a game shouldn’t face the same kind of thing. How about making it’s $10K for each on board error, and $5K each time Torre thinks it necessary or fitting?
